My dad and I went out with Captain Shennen for a Father’s Day trip, and it was everything we hoped for. The boat was spotless, the Captain was a blast, and he had us on the fish in no time. We had a great day on the water and can’t wait to book our next adventure with Inshore Addictz!

When we arrived at the dock, the boat was already in the water and live shrimp were being loaded into the bait well—ready to go. We headed to the first spot, and that’s when the action really kicked off. We ended up fishing for nearly six and a half hours because Captain Shennen was determined to keep us on the bite. I was chasing an inshore slam but just couldn’t land a flounder, no matter what I tried. The slot Reds, Black Drum, Trout, and Flounder were feeding well all around us. If you’re looking for a great Captain and a fun day on the water, give Shennen a call—I’ll definitely be back this fall. Wish I had snapped some photos!

Our entire experience with Inshore Addictz Charters was outstanding from beginning to end. Captain Shennen went above and beyond to ensure every detail was in place for an incredible day on the water. When we arrived at the dock, the boat was fueled, spotless, and fully stocked with live bait—everything ready to go. Captain Shennen was exceptionally friendly and engaging, especially with my 13-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. He took the time to patiently teach them how to bait hooks, cast properly, and better understand the behavior of different fish species. His ability to strike the perfect balance between instruction and encouragement stood out—he knew exactly when to guide them and when to let them learn independently. Unlike some charters where the captain handles everything, Captain Shennen made sure the kids were involved in every part of the fishing experience. His hands-on, educational approach was perfectly tailored to their age and interests. While fishing always comes with some unpredictability, Captain Shennen’s deep knowledge of the tides, wind patterns, and fish behavior kept us adaptable throughout the day. His expertise paid off—we ended up catching around 20 fish! We chose to release most of them, but kept a few, which Captain Shennen expertly cleaned and filleted for us to enjoy at home. Most importantly, the kids had an unforgettable time. The day was filled with excitement, learning, and plenty of smiles—creating memories we’ll cherish for a long time. It was a slow start with the full moon and challenging tides, but Captain Holtz managed to put us on some sheepshead. Had a great time out there!

Had an awesome day on the water with Inshore Addictz Charters. The weather was a bit chilly, but Captain Shennen Holtz knew exactly where to find quality fish. I even had the chance to help with tagging and data collection on a beautiful redfish. I would absolutely head out with them again!
